star war vs samurai
Lets go back in time and when star wars was made, I was wonder how the concept of this film originated. And my idea is that George Lucas got his idea from seven samurai, I neven seen seven samurai, but i know of it. Seven samurai was remade into the spaghetti western american the Magnificent Seven. My idea of George seeing this idea of samurai and then creating the jedi's. Maybe its a kwok thing, but come on. Samurai were used to protect the royals and so do jedi's. Obviously both are famous for there swords and idea of bad samurai is like jedi gone wrong. I remember watching part one and the acting of the young sky walker was really lame, but he was only a kid, more annoying when in his interview he said it was easy. I do like the idea of good turning bad. I think many film only concentrate too much on good guys and never give bad guys any meaning. It like many people only see the ending of arguement and believe's the one that look wrong is bad. I remember watching a tvb series ages ago and main bad guy was a good guy at beginning, even at the end when this person turn bad I still like his character. As he stuck to what he believed, sometime bad guys could be seen as different and obviously do the wrong things, but sometime soceity forces one to change to be bad. Can we blame a thief who has a starving family. I think all comes down to how we see situation and people. Well haven't watch star war yet, but hopefully will get to watch it.
